“Skin…”
Alex Rieser

of the ruptured cloud. Skin of snow
blindness. Skin of new birds
wholly arrive. Skin
that’s right about the feeling of laughter.
Skin of haiku mind.
Skin of watched unbutton. Skin
of a field of images—endless.
Skin of a fish rising
in twilight to catch insects in its jaws.
Skin
intermittent.
Legs only
that could go on
as I could.
